As Town Centre Manager I work closely with the Retail Sector Group, helping to promote the town with shopping brochures and guides, and help organise their advertising campaigns to ensure Guildford remains top of the list of the regions shoppers. I also participate with the anti-theft group and the police, working to keep the town safe for shoppers and staff. I act as a mediator and facilitator between the retail and business community and the Borough Council, and work with the County Council and the utilities to ensure that highways and pavements are re-instated after roadworks have been undertaken. In addition I participate in a wide range of event and community related committees to ensure that all elements of the town are co-ordinated and events effectively promoted.
