Air Quality

number of responsibilities, with respect to air quality including:-
Air Quality Review
and Assessment
The Review and assessment of air quality under the Environment Act 1995

sites of concern in heavily trafficked areas.
The Borough has two Mobile Air Quality Monitoring Stations . These monitor
particulates, Nitrogen Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and meteorological conditions.
Data is attached in the form of three monthly reports.
Millennium Report
on air Quality
Guildford in conjunction with Surrey authorities has produced a Millennium
Report on air quality.
Control of Commercial
Emissions
Authorisation of certain industrial processes to control and reduce the
emission of pollutants.
Education Initiatives
An education package including a video "The Air Around us" has been produced
in conjunction with other Surrey authorities.
You can view the latest Three hourly bulletin from the Air
