Reasons for control.

  • Uneven surface making the area unsightly and dangerous.

Biology.

The mole (Talpa europaea):

  • They are about 12-16cm long.
  • They have black velvety hair.
  • They have large spade-like forefeet.
  • Moles are solitary animals.
  • They live underground in a series of tunnels, which they patrol looking for earthworms, their main source of food.

  • They have one litter a year between February and June.
