The Marine Conservation Society is an environmental
charity working to conserve the marine environment for both wildlife and
future generations of people. Most of our work is UK based, but we have
some overseas interests such a coral reef conservation. We produce a considerable
number of educational resources including packs aimed at teachers specifically.
The marine environment can provide opportunities for studying topics such
as, Science (variation and classification of species, adaptation to environments,
feeding relationships, food webs etc.), Geography (environmental change
- the effects of people on the marine environment, such as trampling,
erosion, litter) and Maths (handling data). |
