The Lido first opened in 1933 and since then has been described as an oasis in the heart of Guildford. The 50 metre pool and landscape gardens retain much of their 1930's charm. The weather shouldn't be a deterrent as the water is heated to a minimum of 74 F /23 C so even in a traditional British summer you can take the plunge and enjoy a swim in the beautifully clear water; paddling pools and water slides provide additional entertainment. Rolling lawns cater for lazy summer picnics; alternatively light refrshments may be purchased from the cafe. Crazy golf available.

The Lido is available during the summer season for private hire during closed hours. The venue has been used to host events such as outdoor concerts to informal parties and B-B-Q's. For further information on hire fees please contact the Manager.
