17th century townhouse with many original features including a finely carved staircase, panelled rooms, decorative plaster ceilings and wrought iron window fittings. Selections from the Borough's Collection are occasionally displayed including pastel portraits by Guildford-born artist, John Russell RA (1745 - 1806), contemporary craftwork, historical and modern paintings, drawings and prints plus a temporary exhibition programme. Gift shop and refreshments are available.
