Funding

Promotion, brochures, events and 'goody bags' (the Schools Nursery Open Day) for Guildford in Bloom are primarily funded by the main sponsor.  Additionally, twelve local companies fund the maintenance, signage and planting/replacement costs of roundabouts around the Borough by sponsoring them through Guildford in Bloom.  Funding is also achieved through the hire of hanging baskets and troughs.  The Greening the Borough Grants are sponsored by Syngenta, Burns and Webber (the main GiB sponsor) and DEPS (Guildford Borough Council).  Without their generous sponsorship and the sponsorship made by local businesses, the 'In Bloom' Campaign would not take place so effectively, if at all.

The aim of raising sponsorship funding is to support the objectives of the In Bloom Campaign.
