Internationally recognised and local artists feature within the Borough Collection, on show periodically at Guildford House Gallery

The Prince of Crayon Portrait Painters. The Collection includes several fine pastel portraits by Guildford-born artist John Russell RA.

There are many paintings, drawings and prints of guildford and teh surrounding countryside from the 18th Century onwards.

Major 19th century paintings by Henry Pether and HEnry Prosser.  Local 20th century artists are also well represented including Henry J. Sage, Edward Wesson and Ronald Smoothey.

The contemporary craft collection includes ceramics, textiles, embroidery and glass.
