He talks about his fascinating book, The Wages of Spin - A Clear Case of Communications Gone Wrong.
PROFESSOR JUNE PURVIS – EMMELINE PANKHURST Guildhall, High Street 7.30pm £6 (incl. glass of wine) Professor Purvis’s book is the first full length biography of the suffragette leader for nearly 70 years. The book documents Emmeline’s early political work, her active role within the suffragette movement and her role as wife and mother.
