Well, that’s a question I get asked all the time and I wish there was a simple answer – I’m sure my mother still thinks I paint pictures for a living. (picture of me?) Perhaps the best way to explain my role is to give a few examples:

Part of my work involves giving information and advice to arts practitioners, groups and members of the public.

This could be anything from a telephone chat about where to find a local dance class to a meeting in which I give specific advice on a funding application or business plan.
