Car parks
Monday to Saturday (including Bank Holidays) from 8pm to 6pm
Long stay off-street parking: 50p to 60p per hour
Short stay off-street parking: 70p per hour then £2 per hour after the first three hours.
Sunday charging in most of the off-street car parks is £1 per visit.
We also offer a Park and Ride service.
On-street parking
Apart from the bays reserved for permit holders only or blue badge holders and taxis, all other on-street parking places in the centre of town are available to motorists on a pay and display basis. These bays are intended for short term use only. Those nearest the centre of town are limited to 30 minutes and the rest are limited to two hours. The charge is 60p per 30 minutes.
On the eastern side of the town there are some bays limited to three hours and the charge is 40p per 30 minutes.
Blue-badge holders
Blue Badge holders may park free of charge in any Pay and Display car park. We provide designated bays for Blue Badge holders at various locations both on-street and within most of the borough's car parks.
Shopmobility
This scheme is now operating on Level 3 of the Bedford Road Multi-storey car park. It provides manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters for people who have problems walking around the town centre. You don't to be registered disabled to use the wheelchairs and scooters. If you would like more information on the scheme, please phone 01483 453993.
Motor cycles
You can park motorcycles without paying a charge in marked motorcycle bays in the Bedford Road, Commercial Road, Civic Hall, Millbrook and Old Police Station car parks. Castle car park has marked motorcycle bays but you will need to pay a charge when you leave.
Bicycles
Free bicycle stands are provided at various locations within the town centre.
Lorries
There are no official lorry parks in the Guildford area.
Coaches
Coach facilities are provided in Bedford Road and Guildford Park car parks.

Contract & season ticket parking
Regular long-stay customers can buy annual contract or season tickets. Contract parking provides a reserved parking space for customers. Season tickets do not but they do provide daily parking at a discounted rate.
You can buy these tickets from the Bedford Road, York Road and Farnham Road multi-storey car parks. Please look at the locations on the charges table to see where we provide contract parking(although numbers are limited). Phone 01483 444538 for more information.
Garages
Approximately 200 garages are for hire at various town centre locations. Call Guildford (01483) 444538 for details.
Parking fines
These are imposed for infringements of the On & Off-Street Parking Orders. The standard charge is currently £60.
