Celebrate World Environment Day
Guildford Schools' Assembly Competition |
The World Environment Day theme for 2004 is:
Wanted! Seas and Oceans – Dead or Alive?
The theme asks that we make a choice as to how we want to treat the Earth’s seas and oceans. Do we want to keep the seas and oceans healthy and alive? Or polluted and dead?
Celebrate World Environment Day at your school assembly
Why not enter our exciting assembly competition and have the chance to win £250 for your school? Put on an assembly during June looking at one or more of the problems associated with our oceans. We will visit your school to watch your assembly.
You could look at:
over fishing
species diversity
habitat destruction
pollution
global warming
flooding
Poetry, recycled props, drama, dance....... let your imagination sail away!
To enter the competition or to find out more, phone Katherine Willmott on 01483 444512 or e-mail [email protected]
