GFD Env Forum
Introduction

Guildford Environmental Forum (GEF) is a group of volunteers actively involved in finding solutions to these problems.

- The Forum is composed of people who care about the environment.

- It was set up in 1993 and has become a credible voice with decision-makers.

- Its work is co-ordinated by an Executive Committee and it functions through the Working Groups.

- Its objectives are to present practical solutions, raise awareness, deliver projects and maintain expertise.

- Members come from all backgrounds including education, business, farming, voluntary groups and elected bodies.  Some join as individuals, some are associated with organisations.

GEF is financed by members' subscriptions, Guildford Borough Council and grants from funding bodies.
