What are Neighbourhood Teams?

Neighbourhood Teams cover every ward in the Borough, and are made up of a combination of dedicated beat officers (Neighbourhood Specialist Officers), Police Community Support Officers and Community Safety Wardens.  Each ward has at least one of these. 

Your team is your local contact in the community. You can talk to them about issues in your area.  Each team works to tackle crime and disorder, and reduce fear of crime in their ward.  They do this by tackling problem people and places, promoting community safety, assisting with environmental improvements, and working with you to develop your community. There is constant dialogue between the team as they share information, findings and feedback from the community.
