- Safer Guildford Partnership wins over £100,000 to get rid of abandoned cars and reduce arson across the Borough!
- Ash Youth Centre are challenging the local Police to a basketball game!! Watch this space for more details!!
- SNAP Disco this Saturday at the Park Barn Day Centre between 7pm and 11pm. This event is being jointly run and organised by the Police, University of Surrey Students Union, and young people from the local community. Tickets are £3 on the door. All persons will be searched prior to entry, and police will be present all night, so it's a very safe place to be!
- New Park Barn Youth Cafe opened last night (3rd Feb) at 7pm and was a HUGE success! Thanks to everyone who showed their support. The cafe can be found at the Community Centre on Cabell Road.
- It's official! Surrey is the safest county in England!
- This means that individuals who persistantly cause problems are now being targetted, and dealt with. Those who receive an anti-social behaviour order have restrictions placed upon them, and if they breach these, they are likely to be arrested and sent to court. This highlights the Safer Guildford Partnership's committment to increasing community safety.
