The Business Support Officer, Business Partnership Officer and Town Centre Manager  

The business support service incorporates the business support officer, business partnership officer and town center manager who coordinate policy, carry out economic development work and foster links with the business community. 

The business support and business partnership officer are the main point of contact within the council for business enquiries.  They also:

• lobby on behalf of economic interests;
• prepare and carry out the Business Action Plan
• provide publicity and information such as the business directory, advice leaflets, business newsletter, commercial property, business events and background economic information.

The Town Centre Manager

The town centre manager is the point contact for all town centre matters.  He also: 

• lobbies on behalf of the town centre;
• promotes Guildford locally and within the region;
• helps organise town events;
• troubleshoots town centre problems;
